With the benign blessings and guidance of His Holiness Jagadguru Pujyasri Mahaswamigal Sri Sri Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal and His Holiness Pujyasri Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri Subrahmanyaswamy Devalayam at Skandagiri, Secunderabad was constructed in stages by 'Sri Subrahmanyaswamy Aadi Krithikai Laksharchana Committee', in accordance with the principal objective of the Committee.

 

The Temple is under Sole Trusteeship of SRI SUBRAMANYASWAMY SANATHANA DHARMA TRUST (Regd.)  under the aegis of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, effective from November 2013, with His Holiness Pujyasri Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal as Chief Patron.

The main Temple complex was constructed by Adi Krithigai Laksharchana Committee ( Regd.)  as per the main objectives of the Committee. The Committee,  founded in the year 1965 was managing the Temple from the inception till the year 1980.   

 

The Temple came under the direct control of His Holiness Sri Sankaracharya Swamigal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam in the year 1980 and was administered as a branch of Sri Matam till recently, under its sole trusteeship.

 

The day-to-day affairs of the Temple is being managed by The Temple Managing Committee.

 

The Temple Managing Committee comprises of philanthropic and eminent persons in different fields chosen and nominated by His Holiness Sri Sankaracharya Swamigal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam from time to time.
